How does an employee know what to believe in if she is not an employee? If someone is not yet a team member, how does he know the culture is authentic?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In reality, a company should begin the vetting process by announcing its culture to the world, for everyone to see and hear, ESPECIALLY potential employees. Finding talent that believes in&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miick.com\/get-these-important-tips-on-creating-your-company-culture\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">your culture<\/a>&nbsp;begins with what that culture is and how it\u2019s packaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hiring the Right People by Choice Not by Chance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEFINE EXCELLENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step is to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miick.com\/get-these-important-tips-on-creating-your-company-culture\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">define culture<\/a>. Define excellence. There should be no ambiguity as to what success looks like. In reality, a potential hire should have a good idea of what she\u2019s walking into before that first interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INTERVIEW OFTEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interviewing process should never stop. Even if there aren\u2019t immediate needs, interview on a regular basis. Know what you\u2019re looking for, and don\u2019t take chances. Hiring the right people to support your purpose and values happens by choice, not by chance.
